Kids' Burton Grom Step On Snowboard Boots - 237751

Product Features

Look Mom, No Laces

Set your little shredder up for independence and a comfy ride.

Put the power of independence in their hands.

The kids' Burton Grom Step On Snowboard Boots double the freedom with the intuitive ease of a step on binding system and the simplified lacing of the BOA Fit System.

Just step in, dial up the fit, and ride.

It doesn't get much more kid-friendly than that.

Bunny hill or groomers, there's a wide world of mini-shred possibilities.

  • Just Step Right In: The Step On system creates a clean and simple boot-to-binding interface that lets you step right in. No buckles. No Straps. No Fuss.
  • Easy to Adjust: An oversize BOA dial makes for easy adjustment for small hands.

Lacing

Kids Single Zone Boa

  • BOA Fit System featuring Coiler technology is controlled by a single dial and uses an inner coiler that automatically recoils the lace back into the inner spool providing clean lace management, a snug fit, and faster lacing with the twist of a dial.

Liner

Kids Imprint Step On Liner

  • Kids' Imprint Step On Liner is warm and cozy while providing elevated comfort thanks to a heat-moldable liner with a retention strap for additional ankle support.

Outsole

Step On Outsole

  • Step On Outsole features toe cleats in the forefoot that securely fasten into the binding; EST optimized midsole lowers your center of gravity and improves board feel without sacrificing comfort

Traditional 8mm Heel Rise

  • Traditional midsole ramp angle sets the user's heel above their toes when inside their boots, putting the riders on the balls of their feet in an athletic ready position, mimicking the ramped position found in athletic performance footwear.

Warranty

  • 1-Year Warranty

"Does it work in powder?" POWDER – Yes! Step On works great in powder. Just brush the snow out of your footbed before you step on (like you would with any binding).

"How do I get out?" STEPPING OUT – Getting out is even easier than getting in. Just pull the lever on the heel of the binding and twist your foot. Boom, you're out.

"How do I get in?" STEPPING ON – It really is as easy as, "heel, toe, go". Step into the binding heel-first to engage the heel clip, then press down your toes until you hear the clicks.

Binding Style
Step On

Step On
Strapless snowboard bindings can be identified by their lack of straps. Strapless snowboard binding systems require compatible boots to function properly. For example, Burton’s Step On system requires Step On boots that have a heel cleat and toe cleats that connect to corresponding hardware on Burton Step On bindings. Strapless snowboard binding systems are very quick and easy to get in and out of, while offering the same board control and holding power of a traditional strap binding.

Boa

Boa
The BOA Fit System has grown into an industry standard in recent years, providing quick and easy twist-to-tighten functionality. The BOA® system consists of a knob (called the Coiler™) on the front or side of the boot that is used to adjust the tightness of the boot with cables or ropes that are routed within the boot shell. Twist to tighten the laces and pop the coiler out to loosen the laces.

Boot Liner
Heat Moldable

Heat Moldable
Boot Liners are Heat Moldable by applying heat by a professional to accelerate the process of forming the perfect fit around your foot. Note that most liners will "pack out" and shape to the wearer's foot after some use, so simply wearing them for an extended period of time is an option as well.

Ability Level
Beginner / Intermediate

Beginner / Intermediate
A beginner to intermediate skier or rider is one who can confidently handle easy slopes, link turns, and control speed, but is still developing skills on steeper or varied terrain. Stays of trails marked as beginner as well as some intermediate trails.
