The Volkl Kendo is always a favorite ski for the strong intermediate to expert skier who like stability and power on the frontside of the mountain with the ability to provide you with some floatation and maneuverability off the groomers. Volkl's Multi-Layer Wood Core uses vertically laminated strips of wood and a Full Titanal Layer to plow through crud, drive into firm terrain and overall deliver one damp ride regardless of conditions. Moderate Taper in the Tip and tail prevent the tips and tails from getting hung up in fresh snow and improve your maneuverability. The 90mm waist of the Kendo truly shines when you are making medium to long radius turns on a crud covered groomer, but also can give you the floatation you need on fresh snow days when you want to rip down a wide open bowl.

One ski quiver, rips on the hard pack, still floats in soft snow, rocker helps ease into turns, bulletproof.

The mid sized SUV of your quiver.

Don't know what the conditions are going to be, no problem. You can rip on hard pack the head into the woods. Kendo doesn't care.

There is no question in my mind why the Kendo gets such great reviews. This hard charging ski absolutely flies and rides and edge beautifully.
I love the fact that the Kendo has camber which equates to more contact on the snow and a fantastic ride.

This ski does it all. Ski it in the East on hard pack and it holds an edge like you would not believe. out west on softer snow it skis off trail with confidence. tip and tail rocker add to fun in powder.
