Secure, Comfortable Fit Boa® Lockdown feature routes lacing toward the heel for a snug, comfortable fit around the ankle and secure heel hold down.

Warm, Dry Feet Lightweight, heat-moldable liners offer a custom fit with the tech to reflect heat and wick sweat to keep your feet warm and dry all day, all season.

Features:

LACING:

Dual Zone Boa® Lockdown

Boa Coiler Closure System Powered by Burton Exclusive New England Ropes

A Burton-exclusive upgrade to BOA®, Lockdown Lacing increases heel hold by integrating three distinct lacing zones with a single crank-able dial.

Tightening all zones (upper, lower and heel/Achilles) both rapidly and simultaneously results in a secure and consistent fit throughout the boot with greater hold in the heel pocket for an overall more comfortable feel.

LINER:

Imprint™ 3 with Focus Cuff

heat-moldable liner provides moisture management and added wicking control and features a hook-and-loop closure system for a snug fit and lightweight power panels for elevated response and support.

Boosting heel-hold by hugging that sweet spot around your ankle, the Focus Cuff rides slightly higher on your ankle for increased response.

CUSHIONING

Vibram Traction Lug with Sleeping Bag Reflective Foil

Vibram® Traction Lug outsole features Vibram EcoStep rubber for full rubber coverage under your foot.

With an EST construction and added tread and surface changes to the sides of key lugs, this outsole offers the best traction in the Burton line

This low profile and lightweight underfoot shield reflect heats back to the feet, improving both warmth and comfort when faced with cold conditions.

EST 0mm Heel Rise

EST goes beyond bindings by drawing inspiration from the surf / skate heritage of snowboarding and giving you a more direct connection to your boards.

By eliminating the ramp angle of your outsole, EST Lowers your center of gravity, improves board feel, and creates a more surf/skate like feel. All without sacrificing an ounce of cushioning thanks to ultra dampening ReBounce and B3 Gel inserts.

Pros of BOA® Lacing

It is easy to fine-tune tightness with micro-adjustments

Pop out the coiler for quick and easy comfort on the lift or during après

All boot adjustments can be made while wearing gloves/mittens A single-coiler system tightens and loosens evenly across the entire foot

Cons of BOA®

Lacing The coiler interface may take a couple of uses before it feels intuitive

It can be easy to over-tighten with BOA® and cause foot fatigue

A single-coiler system does not allow for independent tightness of the upper and lower zones

The BOA® coiler sticks off the boot and can get caught on things Replacing a broken coiler or cable requires additional parts and can be complicated

BOA® lacing snowboard boots are generally more expensive

Binding Style
Strap

Strap
Strap bindings are the most common type of snowboard bindings, and they can be easily identified by the flexible straps (or sometimes a single strap) that connect across the top of the snowboard boot to hold it in place. A ratcheting buckle tightens the straps across the top of the ankle and toe of the boot. Because each strap is adjustable and can be tightened individually, strap snowboard bindings offer a high degree of adjustability.

Lacing
Boa

Boa
The BOA Fit System has grown into an industry standard in recent years, providing quick and easy twist-to-tighten functionality. The BOA® system consists of a knob (called the Coiler™) on the front or side of the boot that is used to adjust the tightness of the boot with cables or ropes that are routed within the boot shell. Twist to tighten the laces and pop the coiler out to loosen the laces.

Boot Liner
