My first pair of skis - it was a goal of mine to learn how to ski, so my boyfriend (snowboarder) did a ton of research and recommended these.
I. Am. In. Love. These skis are perfect in every possible way. These are fun, fast, and can hug a turn beautifully. I cannot wait for winter to return so I can dust them off and ride the slopes.
Super fun zippy turny women's skis!

Pros:
All of the above, at a very fair price point
Cons:
Color choices / graphics on the skis are a bit subdued for me

Having done extensive online research on ratings/reviews of women's ski options to replace my 10-year old planks (including offerings from classics like Rossi, K2, Elan and Atomic but also newer brands - at least to me - like Icelantic, Liberty, Faction and Line), I kept getting pointed to the Blizzard Black Pearl. I'm a middle-aged former athlete who does most of her skiing in the East, and I still love both cruising groomers and making quick turns in the bumps and the trees (as long as there's plenty of Aleve and spiked apple cider in the lodge after)! I debated between the 78, 82 and 88 waist widths - and also various lengths in the 160s - and ended up picking the 166 82s. Turns out these skis are PERFECT for me. They are light, quick, zippy and turny - so easy to maneuver, and yet really had terrific edge grip on icy spots too! If you're debating, stop now and pull the trigger on these puppies! You will not regret it!
