NEW for the 2022/2023 winter season, the K2 Trance snowboard boot brings tons of technology into a price point that won’t break the bank. It all starts with our This Grips!™ outsole - two different densities of rubber are strategically placed to ensure the best possible grip for both the parking lot and the boot pack. A full-eva midsole is backed with our impact-resistant Harshmellow™ material, helping to reduce vibration and mellow out the harshest of landings. Less vibration of the ankle means that your feet are feeling comfortable and fresh all day long. Inside, our multi-density Control Foam liner features heat-moldable foam from Intuition®. As an industry leader, Intuition® foam is lightweight, durable, warm, and has excellent memory - meaning that it molds to the shape of your foot, and stays that way. This is all then wrapped in our three-point harness - snuggly holding your ankle in place for stability, and reducing heel lift for ultimate board control. Our patented Endo™ Construction keeps this snowboard boot extremely lightweight. By replacing a traditional heel counter of the boot with an injected poly material, this allows us to change the flex and rebound of the Trance, without adding extra weight. Endo™ construction = lightweight and stable. A dual-zone BOA® Fit System allows users to adjust the upper and lower of the snowboard boot independently of each other, fitting more foot shapes than a standard single-BOA® boot normally would. Lastly, we top it off with a lace cover to keep your laces safe from the edge of your board, and whatever else might come into play.

All Mountain Explores all obstacles across the mountain, enjoying anything coming across them on the hill.
Medium A medium flex has a balance of playfulness and response, fitting a variety of terrain and ability levels.
Strap Strap bindings are the most common type of snowboard bindings, and they can be easily identified by the flexible straps (or sometimes a single strap) that connect across the top of the snowboard boot to hold it in place. A ratcheting buckle tightens the straps across the top of the ankle and toe of the boot. Because each strap is adjustable and can be tightened individually, strap snowboard bindings offer a high degree of adjustability.
2x4, 4x4, Burton 3D, Channel Compatible with the Channel, Burton 3D, 2x4, and 4x4 mounting systems.
Boa The BOA Fit System has grown into an industry standard in recent years, providing quick and easy twist-to-tighten functionality. The BOA® system consists of a knob (called the Coiler™) on the front or side of the boot that is used to adjust the tightness of the boot with cables or ropes that are routed within the boot shell. Twist to tighten the laces and pop the coiler out to loosen the laces.
Heat Moldable Boot Liners are Heat Moldable by applying heat by a professional to accelerate the process of forming the perfect fit around your foot. Note that most liners will "pack out" and shape to the wearer's foot after some use, so simply wearing them for an extended period of time is an option as well.
Intermediate / Expert An intermediate to expert skier or rider handles varied terrain, including black diamond runs, with confidence, demonstrating advanced turning, speed control, and adaptability to different snow conditions.
