Would you recommend this product to a friend? Yes

These are like sturdy sneakers that have a stiffer sole to be more comfortable over rough terrain. They just come up over my ankles. The uppers are reinforced and provide foot and toe protection against kicking rocks, etc. They are comfy like sneakers, and I can walk fast in them. They probably aren't supportive enough for backpacking. My feet are slightly narrow, and my usual shoe size in them fits fine.

They probably aren't supportive enough for backpacking. Really good price and delivery at Buckman's. I phoned with a question, and the rep answered right away and was polite and helpful.

These Addidas mid height hikers are awesome. Since they're GoreTex they are waterproof for the nastiest of hikes. Great fit and a great sole combined with Gore Tex make for a great day on the trail or everyday use
