2025 Kids K2 YOU+H BOA Snowboard Boots - KB240423

Product Features

The all-new K2 YOU+H Snowboard Boot is a premium-level choice for extending your time on the mountain and harnessing your grom's snowboard talents for all-day comfort, premium performance, and warmth.

Packed full of tech and features as our adult boot collection, the unisex K2 YOU+H snowboard boot gives your grom the confidence to anything you put in front of them.

This philosophy is proven with features like the Youth BOA® Fit System, which uses a patented BOA® dial and TX3 BOA® laces that are both secure and easy to use.

Inside, the K2 YOU+H's heat-moldable Comfort EVA liner is warm and breathable and can be custom-fit to any foot shape.

It also features internal J bars that hug the ankles for a supportive and responsive fit. Finally, K2 placed their Grows-A-Long shim system in there, allowing for a longer life out of the boot.

*Performs best in combination but not exclusively with K2 Vandal and Kat snowboards and Vandal and Kat bindings.

Features

LACING

YOUTH BOA® FIT SYSTEM

  • Simple and secure shell lacing that tightens with a twist of the Youth BOA Dial.

TX3 BOA® LACING

  • A softer lace explicitly made for snowboard boots that provides a more even fit over the body of the boot shell versus a steel lace.

LINER

COMFORT FOAM EVA LINER

  • Soft and warm foam focused on a forgiving flex and excellent out-of-the-box fit.

INTERNAL J-BARS

  • Adding J-Bars to a liner helps add structure and reduce heel lift.

CUSHIONING

DIE CUT EVA FOOTBED + GROWS-A-LONG SHIMS

  • A set of three EVA shims can be added or removed from the boot for multi-season use as your grom grows.

BRIGHT FUTURES™ OUTSOLE

  • Lighting up the stoke and fun for groms everywhere, this LED light-powered outsole is built to be lightweight and has tons of grip for lasting the whole day.

FLEX AND RESPONSE

  • 3 out of 10 (1 Soft - 10 Stiff)

FLEX ZONE UPPER CUFF

  • The flex zone upper is designed to help retain a consistent flex pattern while reducing shell distortion when flexing.

Pros of BOA® Lacing

  • It is easy to fine-tune tightness with micro-adjustments
  • Pop out the coiler for quick and easy comfort on the lift or during après
  • All boot adjustments can be made while wearing gloves/mittens
  • A single-coiler system tightens and loosens evenly across the entire foot

Cons of BOA® Lacing

  • The coiler interface may take a couple of uses before it feels intuitive
  • It can be easy to over-tighten with BOA® and cause foot fatigue
  • A single-coiler system does not allow for independent tightness of the upper and lower zones
  • The BOA® coiler sticks off the boot and can get caught on things
  • Replacing a broken coiler or cable requires additional parts and can be complicated
  • BOA® lacing snowboard boots are generally more expensive

Snowboard Terrain
All Mountain

All Mountain
Explores all obstacles across the mountain, enjoying anything coming across them on the hill.

Flex
Soft

Soft
Allows the ride to have the most flex in their equipment with soft easy flex from toe to heel.

Binding Style
Strap

Strap
Strap bindings are the most common type of snowboard bindings, and they can be easily identified by the flexible straps (or sometimes a single strap) that connect across the top of the snowboard boot to hold it in place. A ratcheting buckle tightens the straps across the top of the ankle and toe of the boot. Because each strap is adjustable and can be tightened individually, strap snowboard bindings offer a high degree of adjustability.

Binding Mount Pattern
2x4, 4x4, Burton 3D, Channel

2x4, 4x4, Burton 3D, Channel
Compatible with the Channel, Burton 3D, 2x4, and 4x4 mounting systems.

Lacing
Boa

Boa
The BOA Fit System has grown into an industry standard in recent years, providing quick and easy twist-to-tighten functionality. The BOA® system consists of a knob (called the Coiler™) on the front or side of the boot that is used to adjust the tightness of the boot with cables or ropes that are routed within the boot shell. Twist to tighten the laces and pop the coiler out to loosen the laces.

Boot Liner
Heat Moldable

Heat Moldable
Boot Liners are Heat Moldable by applying heat by a professional to accelerate the process of forming the perfect fit around your foot. Note that most liners will "pack out" and shape to the wearer's foot after some use, so simply wearing them for an extended period of time is an option as well.

Ability Level
Beginner / Intermediate

Beginner / Intermediate
A beginner to intermediate skier or rider is one who can confidently handle easy slopes, link turns, and control speed, but is still developing skills on steeper or varied terrain. Stays of trails marked as beginner as well as some intermediate trails.
