Engineered to instill confidence in the beginner women’s boarder, the First Lite is the ultimate tool to develop your skills.
Built to instill confidence in new riders and keep them coming back for more, the First Lite’s foundation is a directional twin shape and is topped off with K2’s Catch-Free™ Tune. This makes learning how to snowboard both regular and switch as easy as possible - as the snowboard will feel identical riding in both directions. The K2 First Lite uses our Rocker Profile featuring our Catch Free Tune, meaning that the snowboard is flat in between the bindings with rocker just outside the bindings. This results in easy turn initiation and release of every turn. Easier release equals fewer falls, less time taking breaks, more time on the mountain, and faster progression.
Women Designed for Women
All Mountain Explores all obstacles across the mountain, enjoying anything coming across them on the hill.
Twin This particular shape allows the rider to ride switch or regular. The nose and tail of the board have the same shape.
Hybrid The best of rocker and camber which allows the rider to float in powder with loaded up pop.
Soft / Medium A softer flex is more forgiving and playful, allowing the rider to make small adjustments with lower consequences.
2x4 The 2x4 hole pattern features two rows of holes. The rows are spaced four centimeters apart, and each hole in the row is spaced two centimeters apart. Each snowboard binding is secured to the snowboard using four bolts. This pattern offers the rider some flexibility with binding placement forward or backward compared to the manufacturer’s suggested reference stance position.
Beginner / Intermediate A beginner to intermediate skier or rider is one who can confidently handle easy slopes, link turns, and control speed, but is still developing skills on steeper or varied terrain. Stays of trails marked as beginner as well as some intermediate trails.
