All Mountain Explores all obstacles across the mountain, enjoying anything coming across them on the hill.
Medium A medium flex has a balance of playfulness and response, fitting a variety of terrain and ability levels.
Strap / Burton EST Strap bindings are the most common type of bindings, identified by the flexible strap(s) that connect across the top of the boot, holding it in place. A ratcheting buckle tightens the straps across the top of the ankle and toe of the boot. Each strap is highly adjustable and tightened individually. An EST mounting system has no hardware underfoot, features a cushioning foot bed for improved board feel, and provides unrestricted stance options. Works exclusively on boards featuring the Channel.
Channel The Channel replaced Burton’s 3D mounting pattern in 2014. The Channel consists of 2 slots running parallel to the edges of the board (1 for each binding), allowing nearly infinite binding mounting options using just 2 screws per binding. The Channel works best with Burton’s EST Bindings, but with the correct mounting discs, other bindings can be used. The Channel allows adjustment of stance width, angle, centering, and setback to nearly any position without the constraints of a 4-screw pattern.
Intermediate / Expert An intermediate to expert skier or rider handles varied terrain, including black diamond runs, with confidence, demonstrating advanced turning, speed control, and adaptability to different snow conditions.
