Men's Burton Driver X Snowboard Boot - 104341

Sketchy climbs and exposed lines are the men's Burton Driver X Snowboard Boot's domain. Its burly demeanor is balanced by practical upgrades in warmth and comfort. A one-two punch of DRYRIDE Heat Cycle and Sleeping Bag reflective foil captures and radiates body heat while wicking away heat-robbing sweat. Total Comfort balances the power with a perfectly broken-in feel right from the start. Grippy Vibram® EcoStep™ outsole clings to the mountain with confidence. Add it all up and you get the only choice for riders who hike, sled, guide, or patrol, as well as freestyle technicians like Terje Haakonsen.

  • Injected backstay for increased response and improved support; 1:1 PowerUp Plus Tongue features thermoplastic reinforcement and provides greater rebound and durability
  • Tuff cuff increases heel hold and wraps the ankle with medial and lateral support and also enables free flex from heel to toe
  • Total Comfort Construction provides an instantly broken-in feel right out of the box, eliminating the break-in period; Snow-proof internal gusset completely seals the lower zone of the boot, keeping your feet warm and dry
  • Speed Zone lacing system features lightning fast lacing control while allowing you to customize the tension of upper and lower zones in seconds; New England Ropes use American-made fibers and are virtually indestructible, won't kink, and are easy to re-lace
  • Sleeping bag reflective foil underfoot reflects heat back to the foot, improving both warmth and comfort in cold conditions
  • Imprint 3x liner has a hook-and-loop closure system with an inner lace lock for a snug fit and lightweight power panels for added response; DRYRIDE Heat Cycle lining captures, radiates, and reflects body heat inward to keep feet warmer while also wicking away heat-robbing moisture
  • Vibram® Ecostep rubber outsole gives you the legendary grip of Vibram® in a lighter weight package and with 30% recycled construction with the added rebound and cushioning of dual zone EVA and B3 Gel in the heel and toe
  • Shrinkage footbed reduction technology reduces the boot's overall footprint, minimizing toe drag

Binding Style
Strap

Strap
Strap bindings are the most common type of snowboard bindings, and they can be easily identified by the flexible straps (or sometimes a single strap) that connect across the top of the snowboard boot to hold it in place. A ratcheting buckle tightens the straps across the top of the ankle and toe of the boot. Because each strap is adjustable and can be tightened individually, strap snowboard bindings offer a high degree of adjustability.

Binding Mount Pattern
2x4, 4x4, Burton 3D, Channel

2x4, 4x4, Burton 3D, Channel
Compatible with the Channel, Burton 3D, 2x4, and 4x4 mounting systems.

Lacing
Boa

Boa
The BOA Fit System has grown into an industry standard in recent years, providing quick and easy twist-to-tighten functionality. The BOA® system consists of a knob (called the Coiler™) on the front or side of the boot that is used to adjust the tightness of the boot with cables or ropes that are routed within the boot shell. Twist to tighten the laces and pop the coiler out to loosen the laces.

Boot Liner
Heat Moldable

Heat Moldable
Boot Liners are Heat Moldable by applying heat by a professional to accelerate the process of forming the perfect fit around your foot. Note that most liners will "pack out" and shape to the wearer's foot after some use, so simply wearing them for an extended period of time is an option as well.
