I bought this as a gift for my husband, and he loves it. It's really warm without being bulky, which is essential for outdoor activities. Buckman's had the best price I could find, and it was a big plus to not have to shop some of the bigger stores. The jacket arrived a lot sooner than I expected. I recommend the jacked and shopping at Buckmans.

This down jacket is perfect alone for cold and windy days. You can layer it underneath for added warmth during the freezing winters. Don't recommend it as a rain jacket.

I purchased this jacket as a gift for a friend who had been eyeing a few different down jackets that would keep him warm, but unable to afford Patagonia. After searching the internet for black Friday and other deals, nothing yielded as great of a price as Buckman's. Shipping was faster then anticipated, and he said it keeps him really warm amid the cold temps in the CO mountains.

Accurate fit, maybe a little large, does offer some water resistance, but would not use this as an outer layer in moderate to heavy rain.

I purchased this down jacket for my son who is 14 as replacement for his puffer jacket, and he could not be happier! It provides plenty of insulation on colder than average days and can be packed easily into it's own pocket for traveling

This is a warm layering piece under a shell on cold days on the mountain or an everyday jacket for around town. It compacts right into the pocket so it can be placed in a pack and takes up almost no room.

An excellent mid-layer jacket or everyday jacket in cold weather. The traceable down insulation is extremely warm it allows you to be versatile and mobile even under an outer shell.

This is a very nice down jacket that works great as a layering piece or as an outer layer . Also this jacket is very compressible so you can easily use it when skiing or hiking and stuff it into a backpack if you get too warm.

I cannot say enough about this jacket. It was recommended to me years ago as a very warm mid-layer jacket, which it is and works very well. But it is also a great jacket to wear around on its own since it is incredibly warm, light and wind resistant.
It's also excellent to take on a trip cause it rolls or folds up very small that I can keep it in my pack of necessary.

The down sweater is my go to layer for cold days in the winter. The down insulation provides plenty of warmth when the temperature drops. It packs small for travel. It can be used as a layering piece, but provides plenty of warmth by itself.
