Optimize the Splitboard Experience
Fewer moving parts means less to worry about.
The men's Burton Step On Splitboard Bindings bring the ease and simplicity of our Step On system to the backcountry.
Based on the same easy-to-use Spark Tesla mounting system as our Hitchhiker binding, the Step On model mounts quickly and creates a secure connection between the boot heel and binding in tour mode that makes for an efficient stride on the skin track and reduces boot wear.
Less fussing equals faster transitions and more time riding.

All Mountain Explores all obstacles across the mountain, enjoying anything coming across them on the hill.
Medium A medium flex has a balance of playfulness and response, fitting a variety of terrain and ability levels.
Step On Strapless snowboard bindings can be identified by their lack of straps. Strapless snowboard binding systems require compatible boots to function properly. For example, Burton’s Step On system requires Step On boots that have a heel cleat and toe cleats that connect to corresponding hardware on Burton Step On bindings. Strapless snowboard binding systems are very quick and easy to get in and out of, while offering the same board control and holding power of a traditional strap binding.
Split-board Splitboard bindings, which are also known as touring bindings, are modular bindings that are designed specifically for backcountry and uphill travel.
No Canting means the footbed is built with the outside of the feet slightly more raised than the inside, like a wedge. This helps align your joints and can provide better comfort, and even better tip to tail response in some cases.
Intermediate / Expert An intermediate to expert skier or rider handles varied terrain, including black diamond runs, with confidence, demonstrating advanced turning, speed control, and adaptability to different snow conditions.
