Ski Key Lock for Skis and Snowboards

It doesn’t matter if you’re spending a week at a ski resort or the day at a local spot — you need to keep your skis or snowboard safe while you aren’t using it. The best way you can do that is with a reliable ski lock.

Using a ski lock will give you peace of mind while you’re away from your equipment. Whether you’re taking a break in between runs or going out and exploring during your multi-day vacation, you’ll know it’s safe. Many ski resorts offer ski key systems where you can safely store your skis or snowboard.

A ski lock is easy to use — all you have to do is loop the tails of the skis and the rail together and snap the lock into place. When you’re ready to get back out there, insert the key into the ski lock to let it pop open again.

For one of the best, most reliable safety measures to take with your equipment, be sure to pick up a ski lock from us before heading out on your next trip!

Great lock for East Coast skiing. Glad I have this ski lock as the mountains for 2020 are doing away with ski checks.

Does not work with most Colorado storage racks....marketing materials and web description were marginal...did not clearly depict how the lock actually functions.....had we fully understood the functionality we would have selected a different product

Great small lock that has fewer moving parts than a cable lock, provides better security (no cable to cut) and most ski areas have this storage option.

Simple way to lock up your equipment. Many resorts provide the racks these locks go in. Check he "Ski Key" website to see if your mountain has them. Much more secure that a standard cable lock.

Great Way To Secure Skis

This little lock works great in the Ski Key racks that are at almost every ski resort in the country. To see if they are at your favorite ski hill, go to http://www.skikey.com/locations (The location URL in the item description is out-of-date.)

The lock is small making it very easy to throw in a pocket while skiing (much easier than having to lug a cable around with you). It is simple to use in the "Ski Key" racks. I have never had a problem finding a spot in the rack. Locking skis in the Ski Key rack protects against theft and from others inadvertently taking the wrong set of skis as they head back up the mountain. It also protects your skis from damage and scratches from falling over (or other skis falling into them).
