Pros:
Titinal is a welcome addition for dampness, the skis are very intuitive to ski, great float for the width, Lighter than average for build
Cons:
Less crud busting power than others, not a widebody GS ski with rocker

If you love the idea of the Bent series, but fancy a ski more like the Enforcer or Anomoly, the new Marverick 96 CTI needs to be on the top of your list. When I skied this ski and it's narrower 88 CTI sibling, I was immediately reminded that Atomic is an amazing RACING brand AND and amazing FREERIDE brand... and the Maverick CTI is their new baby!
What I loved about the Maverick 96 is the shape, the functional HRZN tech Tip to give you float all matched with a dampness and lightweight. It's a lot, but basically it feels like a one-ski Northeast quiver that will hang with you on trail, off trail, in the trees and then tronch the groomers on the way home. It feels lighter than other skis in the 94-96 range, but it doesn't get knocked around. It takes the best of the Bent series, adds more power and stability and gives advancing intermediates to expert skiers a fantastic base to rip from!
