I will open with this: I have never skied the QST92. For better or worse, I have no reference point on how this ski has improved, but I will say it is a ski that absolutely holds its own. I skied this in a 188 on a narrower trail. This ski really wanted to just GO, so GO we did. It was an ultra damp ski that has a good amount of energy and suprising edge grip. It never lost composure approaching ticket-losing speeds and stayed in the turns very well. I think MOST skiers will love this!
The ski can make a variety of turn shapes and is not difficult to intiate turns with. This ski is stable, and damp... but it lacked a excitement - which could inspire confidence for advancing Intermediates. The QST100 is smooth, and not going to kick you into the back seat or lauch you off of the snow. This will be a bonus for tracked out conditions, afternoon sun-exposed snow, or fresh over bumps like we get in New England. The Bent 100 is perhaps more FUN to ski, this might be more capable.
