Better than the old one, but it took a couple of days to get used to the changes.

Pros:
Light, more versatile, great edge hold, great when the snow gets soft, confidence inspiring.
Cons:
I felt like there was a learning curve, maybe stiffer than the old ones?

Yes
I absolutely loved the Black Pearl's from 2023 and when I heard there was a new one I didn't think it could be even better. In fact, on the first day out on these, I still wasn't sure I'd made the right decision selling mine at the tent sale. After another day out I really started falling in love with these. I'm not super techy but I know they have more "rocker" in the tips and tails and some other differences. What I felt was that afternoon slush and bumps were no longer even a concern, these went right through it and continued to make me a more confirdent skier. Even the kids were cheering me on! They feel the same weight at the old ones, but more stable and have a better edge hold. Totally recommend for an advanced skier!
