Pros: Never Summer Triple Camber Technology combined with a 4-blend of sustainable woods, advanced fiberglass blends and active rubber dampening systems make for a powerful craft to pilot!
Cons: Graphics have good visual aesthetics but are "ho-hum"

Would you recommend this product to a friend? Yes

After riding a number of various Never Summer boards the last few years I got on the 166DF model of this series and have found my all time favorite one I've ever ridden in years! Despite being my needed size of a longer and wider board the Proto FR's super light, snappy, and strong with all the whistles and bells of a superior build but with no added "fluff" of overengineered design and materials.
