Features:

LACING:

Sequence Boa®

Micro-Adjustable, Uniform Fit The Sequence BOA® Fit System has two distinct lace paths for a uniform fit and secure heel hold with the twist of a single dial.

The micro-adjustable fit just adds to the ease and on-the-fly experience.

Boa Coiler Closure System Powered by Burton Exclusive New England Ropes New England Ropes use American-made fibers and are virtually indestructible, won't kink, and are easy to re-lace

LINER:

Imprint™ 3 with Focus Cuff

heat-moldable liner provides moisture management and added wicking control and features a hook-and-loop closure system for a snug fit and lightweight power panels for elevated response and support.

Boosting heel-hold by hugging that sweet spot around your ankle, the Focus Cuff rides slightly higher on your ankle for increased response.

CUSHIONING

Vibram Traction Lug with Sleeping Bag Reflective Foil

Vibram® Traction Lug outsole features Vibram EcoStep rubber for full rubber coverage under your foot.

With an EST construction and added tread and surface changes to the sides of key lugs, this outsole offers the best traction in the Burton line This low profile and lightweight underfoot shield reflect heats back to the feet, improving both warmth and comfort when faced with cold conditions.

EST 0mm Heel Rise

EST goes beyond bindings by drawing inspiration from the surf / skate heritage of snowboarding and giving you a more direct connection to your boards.

By eliminating the ramp angle of your outsole, EST Lowers your center of gravity, improves board feel, and creates a more surf/skate like feel.

All without sacrificing an ounce of cushioning thanks to ultra dampening ReBounce and B3 Gel inserts.

Snugger Strap

Strap across the ankle on the outside of the shell is designed to elevate fit and is controlled by the BOA H4 Dial that provides effortless micro adjustability for stiffness and forward flex while riding and a loose relaxing fit on the lift between runs.

Cuff Clips

To make it easy, Step On Boots feature a cuff clip on the back of the boot.

Simply slide the pant cuff (not the elastic gaiter) down the back of the boot and into the cuff clip.

Toe Cleats

Step On® outsole features toe cleats in the forefoot that securely fasten into the binding

Pros of BOA® Lacing

It is easy to fine-tune tightness with micro-adjustments

Pop out the coiler for quick and easy comfort on the lift or during après

All boot adjustments can be made while wearing gloves/mittens

A single-coiler system tightens and loosens evenly across the entire foot

Cons of BOA® Lacing

The coiler interface may take a couple of uses before it feels intuitive

It can be easy to over-tighten with BOA® and cause foot fatigue

A single-coiler system does not allow for independent tightness of the upper and lower zones

The BOA® coiler sticks off the boot and can get caught on things

Replacing a broken coiler or cable requires additional parts and can be complicated

BOA® lacing snowboard boots are generally more expensive

Binding Style
Step On

Step On
Strapless snowboard bindings can be identified by their lack of straps. Strapless snowboard binding systems require compatible boots to function properly. For example, Burton’s Step On system requires Step On boots that have a heel cleat and toe cleats that connect to corresponding hardware on Burton Step On bindings. Strapless snowboard binding systems are very quick and easy to get in and out of, while offering the same board control and holding power of a traditional strap binding.

Lacing
Boa

Boa
The BOA Fit System has grown into an industry standard in recent years, providing quick and easy twist-to-tighten functionality. The BOA® system consists of a knob (called the Coiler™) on the front or side of the boot that is used to adjust the tightness of the boot with cables or ropes that are routed within the boot shell. Twist to tighten the laces and pop the coiler out to loosen the laces.

Boot Liner
Intuition

Designed primarily for downhill ski and snowboard boots, these liners provide outstanding support, retention, and energy transmission for groomed slopes. Mainly used for freeride, freestyle and racing.
