Stable, Smooth, and Surprisingly Light
Posted by Annie M. from East Coast on 8/7/2025

Pros: Lightweight but planted, Super Responsive, Great for mixed conditions
Cons: Not the surfy float you’d want in deep powder

Would you recommend this product to a friend? Yes

I wasn’t sure what to expect from a ski that’s supposed to be playful and powerful, but the Santa Ana 92s nailed it. They’re light thanks to the carbon and wood core, but still feel super stable at speed. On groomers, they’re smooth and predictable — really easy to trust. In mixed snow and choppy late-day runs, they didn’t get tossed around like some lighter skis I’ve used. They’re also surprisingly quick edge to edge for something 92mm underfoot.

Honestly, they make me feel like a stronger skier without punishing me if I get lazy. They’re not a noodle, but they’re not stiff race skis either — they hit a nice balance.
