Patagonia Mens Down Sweater Vest - 84622

Worth its weight in gold when the sun dips below the horizon, our Down Sweater Vest keeps its focus simple: core warmth. It traps your hard-earned heat with high-loft, 800-fill-power Advanced Global Traceable Down (goose down certified by NSF International, traced from parent farm to apparel factory to help ensure that the birds are not force-fed or live-plucked) and its minimalist design practically floats—it’s so compact that it stuffs into an internal pocket (with a carabiner clip-in loop). The 100% recycled polyester shell with a DWR (durable water repellent) finish provides wind and weather protection, while quilting lines stabilize the down. The drawcord hem tightens from inside the zippered handwarmer pockets, and nylon-bound elastic armholes seal in heat.

If you prefer vests over full jackets, the Patagonia Down Sweater Vest is still a great way to stay comfortable during the winter. Even as a vest, you aren't compromising a lot of warmth. The down interior creates little air pockets among the feathers, which trap heat and keep it in. The Traceable Down from these vests ensure that the birds the feathers came from were never overfed or live-plucked. The armholes are made with elastic, giving them a snug fit that will keep the warmth in. With an adjustable lower hem, you can fit the bottom of the vest closer to your body to prevent any cold air from getting in. The outside shell's 100% recycled polyester resists water to keep you dry and comfortable. With a contoured fit and a variety of colors to choose from, the Patagonia Men's Down Sweater Vest will keep you looking great and feeling your best.

This Vest goes everywhere with me. Hiking, skiing, just traveling. It's light weight and great underneath a light shell. Packs away so small that I put in my backpack just because, never know when I will need it.

Got this classic vest to curb the chill on windy days. Wearing it as a base layer under my ArcTeryx rain jacket is all i need for both warmth and water repellency for hiking, walking, biking. Feels like an instant warm hug when worn alone. I’m 5 ft. 6 1/2” athletic slim build, 120 lbs. I bought size small

A stylish, and comfortable vest. I am one that prefers to wear a vest over a jacket, in most cases. This vest fit true to size. I am a 46 R jacket, and the XL vest fit comfortably. Warm , comfortable, and water repellent. What more could you ask for?
