The Maze MIPS from Smith is a great helmet for any skier or snowboarder looking for a simple look and great protection. Equipped with the MIPS (Multi-Directional Impact Protection System) Construction the Maze MIPS has a liner that can rotate inside the helmet upon impact to absorb some of the energy rather than sending it on to your brain. Smith's Self-Adjusting Lifestyle Fit System has an elastic band on the rear of the helmet that stretches out to fit your head, without needing any other adjustments for a perfect, and safe fit. The Airflow Climate Control pushes cool air through the 9 vents on the Maze to keep you cool in any situation on the mountain. Smith's AirEvac 2 Ventilation circulates air through your goggles and out through channels in the back of the helmet to prevent fogging. If you want a simple looking that gives you stronger protection, the Smith Maze MIPS is amazing.

I love this helmet! Extremely lightweight and low profile. The ear pads are easily removable and same with the goggle clip for a super customizable fit. Pair that with MIPS and you have a super protective and good-looking helmet.

This helmet is the best helmet on the market. It Is extremely light weight and comfortable. The MIPS system give you a extra level of protection. It is also a very stylish helmet that can be used with or with out the ear pads

Love this helmet. MIPS offers the ultimate in impact protection and the low profile and super lightweight design paired with a customizable fit make this my number one helmet of choice. The Maze has a removable goggle clip and removable ear pads for people like me that wear their goggles under their helmets and/or want the option of being able to take their helmet off quickly and with ease. You may not have gotten an A+ on that test in school but this lid get's an A+ in the school of hard knocks.

This helmet keeps my head warm in any temperature. I skied when it was -10 degrees F and my head and ears stayed warm, but if it’s 30 degrees my head isn’t too warm. It’s also very comfortable and a great fit for my head. The biggest difference I noticed with this helmet is that there is a little lip in the front which allows for more airflow through your goggles which prevents them from fogging.
