Outdoor Tech Chips PRO - Universal Drop-in Helmet Audio
Chips PRO, Our Most Advanced Drop-in Helmet Audio Yet
Rebuilt from the ground up, Chips PRO brings completely redesigned 40mm sound, advanced acoustic profile, app-tuned EQ, Bluetooth 5.3, and 15 hours of playtime to the mountain.
Built to fit, built to last
Chips PRO keeps the rugged, minimal look riders know and love, with a sleeker tapper design that’s been improved to drop into virtually any helmet. It’s sweat and water resistant, and it’s tested and designed to work in extreme cold down to -20°C/-4°F. No audio liners on your helmet? No problem. We also make a universal audio liner called the K-Roo 2.0 that attach to any helmet’s Y-straps to make the helmet Chips-compatible.
Bigger sound, tuned your way
New dual-magnet 40mm drivers underwent a lengthy design and testing process and received an all-new expertly tuned sound range profile and acoustics evaluation. This new speaker setup along with the multiport acoustic architecture delivers rich, full sound. A massive upgrade to past versions, which were limited by previous speaker and internal component range. With our TruTone technology, riders can adjust EQ settings in the Outdoor Tech TruTone App to match their music profiles and quickly adapt to their environment.
Made for gloves on and full control
Our patented 2-button easy-touch control system lets riders manage music, volume, calls and voice commands without taking off their gloves or fumbling with their phone. An upgraded built-in ENC noise-canceling microphone cuts background noise, so calls and voice commands come through clearly on the lift, the face, or in the lodge.
All-day power, stronger connection
The all-new Chips PRO boasts a best-in-class 15 hours of playtime and 60 days of standby charge. The power supply has been upgraded to USB-C PD charging with a lightning-fast 45-minute quick charge time. Plus, updated low energy Bluetooth 5.3 delivers stronger, more stable connection and range.
IT'S TIME TO SHRED THE SLOPES
The Chips PRO aren’t just wireless speakers for your snow helmet; they bring concerts and communication into your helmet. With on-ear instead of in-ear audio, they let you safely listen to music, talk on the phone, or activate voice assistance without removing your gloves or mittens and while leaving your phone safely stowed in your pocket. Allowing you to stay connected but not tethered.
- Premium Sound Quality: 40mm dual-magnet drivers deliver an expertly tuned Hi-Fi sound profile and multiport acoustic architecture allow for a more full frequency range to fill your helmet.
- Fast Charging: With upgraded USB-C PD protocol, you can fully charge the Chips PRO in just 45 minutes with the included USB-C to USB-C cable. Which means you can get a full charge in during your morning goat yoga session no problem.
- Long Lasting Battery Life: Our most advanced rechargeable battery delivers 15 hours of playtime. Just enough time for your audiobook, “How to Identify The Lizardpeople on the Mountain."
