2027 Rome Slapstick Contact Camber Snowboard - Youth - ROM-RO.27.13.SLAP

Built for younger rippers who need a fully spec’d board for multi-season progression.

The Rome Slapstick is a full performance board designed for smaller riders who have big boarding aspirations.

What sets the Slapstick apart from other pint-sized options, is its full-fledged tech package.

Built with Twin Diamond 3D for edge-catch-free riding and Bamboo HotRods to help load ollies and make last second adjustments, the Slapstick is nice with it.

An equally capable park lapper, the Slapstick unleashes the best boarder in groms of all sizes and ages.

Whatever you do, just don’t call it’s a kid’s board!

Camber Profile

Contact Camber:

Built as a more approachable camber profile, Contact Camber features a very low-rise camber between the bindings with sections of rocker outside the bindings.

This creates a pressable, forgiving feel that’s great for helping bolster confidence or keeping things buttery smooth in the park.

Construction

Bamboo HotRods:

A thin bamboo rod is milled into the board’s core, adding a mellow boost of stability and power.

Bamboo HotRods are less powerful than Carbon HotRods and are designed to add a modest amount of responsiveness and power to medium-flexing boards.

Twin Single HotRods:

A single HotRod is milled into the board’s core, symmetrically positioned from the insert packs out into the nose and tail areas.

This is the most widely used configuration, primarily used in True Twin and Directional Twin shapes as it creates a predictable boost of power and response that makes any shape ride better.

Shaping

Twin Diamond 3D:

A freestyle and progression-oriented shaping technology, Twin Diamond 3D features a gradual curvature in the board’s nose and tail.

This is built for smooth turn initiation and minimizing edge-catches while linking turns; perfect for dialing in the ‘falling leaf’ or having the most fun buttering everything in sight.

Base

Impact Base:

The best extruded base on the market; reliable, easy to fix and durable as hell.

Sidecut

Tri-Radial Twin:

Designed to optimize true twin board shapes by using a wider radius in the tip and tail sections and a tighter radius in the mid-section of the board.

This helps prevent hangups and overturning, while creating an overall more natural turn feel when riding switch.

Core

Stomp Core:

Built to create a stable and smooth feel with a simple construction for progression-oriented boards.

Stomp Cores are built with 100% Poplar construction.

Laminate

Biax Glass:

This layout consists of fiberglass with two different axes, creating a more playful and torsionally dynamic feel.

Great for freestyle-friendly presses, and torsional play for sidehits and jibs.
