2027 Rome Rene Fusion Camber Snowboard - Men's - ROM-RO.27.10.REN
Rene’s new board built with a mellow flex for park laps and all-mountain good times.
The Rome Snowboards Rene is a new offering designed as a more approachable ride for boarders who want to ride like Rene Rinnekangas but want a more forgiving ride.
Sharing the shape and freestyle DNA of the Rene Pro, the Rene is built with a softer flex profile and Fusion Camber, for more playful feel overall.
Make no mistake, the Rene is a team favorite for park laps and even in the streets, thanks to its future proof shape, versatile feel and in your face graphic package.
Camber Profile
Fusion Camber:
The gold standard for responsive versatility, Fusion Camber is a modern twist on OG positive camber.
Small sections of rocker sit at the contact points along the traditional camber line, effectively helping roll out pressure or impact through the board’s nose and tail.
The benefit of this design is a slightly more forgiving ride without sacrificing power.
Fusion Camber is well-suited for Directional Twin and True Twin shapes as it’s great for riding switch in the park or blasting through groomers.
Construction
Bamboo Omega HotRods:
A thin sleeve of carbon, nestled around a bamboo HotRod, this configuration helps inject a nimble responsiveness without compromising a board’s butter-ability.
Bamboo Omega HotRods are used in boards with a forgiving flex for freestyle-oriented riding.
Directional Triple:
A single HotRod in the board’s nose and two the board’s tail, fanning out from the insert pack towards the edges, helps supercharge Directional Twin boards, providing stability in the board’s nose while beefing up the tail for deep landings and hyper-reactive edge-to-edge riding.
All-mountain riders agree, this HotRod configuration makes light work of whatever terrain the day brings.
Base
SinterStrong:
A low-maintenance, ride-it-all, don’t worry about a thing, sintered base.
Designed for daily drivers and weekend warriors alike.
Sidecut
Radial:
Built to complement a variety of all-terrain oriented boards and riding styles, a single radius sidecut is ‘tried and true,’ consistent and reliable.
Single Radius is typically used to bolster edge hold on cambered boards.
Core
Pop Core:
Rome's most versatile and durable core construction, Pop Cores are built for a predicable feel while easily adopting the targeted power of HotRods.
This core is made up of alternating 20mm wide Poplar strips and 20m wide Paulownia strips.
Laminate
Triax Glass:
Fiberglass runs in three different axes, designed for adding torsionally rigidity and next level snap for ollie power.
This layout is used to supercharge board for aggressive riding.
