A Ripping Carving Ski, in a wide-body All Mountain Format that's a frontside specialist!
Posted by Diamond Dave (Certified Winter Enthusiast) on 8/21/2025

Pros: Rewarding for Expert Skiers, will dominate the will of less qualified candidates. Well built, fast, edge grip for days. ENERGY!!
Cons: Narrow focus, stiff, heavy for their size, unforgiving, lack off trail prowess for less accomplished skiers.

Would you recommend this product to a friend? Yes

The Arcade 88 is a stiff, very well built, and beefy wide carving ski hidden in an All Mountain format. These skis are not light, they are stiff, and the core thickness in the middle of the ski alerts you to that reality: These skis are meant for EXPERT level skiers. Once all of this is accepted, these skis rip groomers. Moreso than anything I've skied in the 88 width! The reality is, it makes the Arcade an On-Piste super star but doesn't encourage you to explore off the groomers. The width works great if the snow gets a little soft, but if exploring the trees, bowls and bumps are your speed you'd be better looking elsewhere. It's a 5-star for me, but might be a one-star for others.
