This is my fifth Marmot item and like the others, well-made and comfortable. I'm 6',175, ordered a large, and it fits like it was tailored for me with good range of motion in the arms. I've worn it in snow with temperatures ranging from 0 F to 30 F and was comfortable throughout. It is designed for casual wear, such as commuting or shopping, so it's not a packable item, rather a winter coat that will keep you dry and toasty in the worst winter weather as you walk to work or school. Yet it is incredibly light considering the coverage and warmth it provides. I use it with a regular long-sleeved shirt, no layers needed. Although down-filled, the jacket fits really well, looks good, and doesn't make you feel like you're covered with marshmallows. It is longer than most winter jackets which keeps much of your thighs warm even in wind. I'm 68 and its the best winter coat I've every owned.
