The new Volkl Kanjo make a great ski for the strong intermediate to expert skier looking for a lively and energetic ski for the frontside of the mountain. A Multi-Layer WoodCore and a Titanal Band feel light on your feet, but stable and powerful when you crank up the speed or come across some cruddy conditions. The 84mm waist feels agile when you are carving medium radius turns on the groomers and delivers fantastic smooth skiing when you want to pound out some tight bump lines. Moderate Taper in the tip and tail of the Kanjo prevent the ski from getting hung up in the bumps or the fresh snow, should the weather permit. Rocker in the tip and tail with camber underfoot provide you with smooth and easy entry and exit from turns with rebound and edge hold on firm days. If you want a new flavor from Volkl in a ski that will be a hot seller this season, get your hands on a new Kanjo while you can.

Volkl long ago mastered the art of producing uncompromising, unapologetic expert oriented skis. Hitherto, Volkl hadn't offered a freeride ski for intermediate skiers: that is, until now. The Kanjo boasts the same top end performance Volkl's brand has become synonymous with while catering to intermediate skiers hoping to adventure into more varied snow conditions and terrain. If searching for an approachable yet sturdy ski, end that search with the Kanjo.
