Smith Goggles

The I/OX from Smith is an excellent goggle for any skier or snowboarder looking for a large frame and lenses that can easily be swapped out when the light shifts on you. The Spherical Carbonic-X Lens delivers an ultra-wide field of view without distorting your peripheral vision. 5X Anti-Fog Coating and the AirEvac System work together to prevent lenses from fogging up on you, even in tough conditions. A Responsive Fit Frame adapts easily to nearly any face shape, while the Dual Axis Outriggers accommodate any helmet shape for a simple to fit goggle. The I/OX features Smith's Chromapop Lens that filters light and allows you to see in high-definition with the ability to see the texture of the snow more clearly and reduced strain on your eyes. A Porex Filter is included with each lens that eliminates distortion at high altitude. Smith's Pivot Quick Release Lens Change System takes only a minute to change lenses when the clouds blow away and the sun breaks out. These goggles have never fogged up on me, which is AMAZING because my old goggles almost always did. Changing the lens is quick and easy and is useful for if it is a sunny or stormy day.

This frame less goggle allows for great peripheral vision and the two lens option makes it perfect for any day on the slopes. Ventilation is exceptional and they do not fog up. First perfectly with Smith helmets.

Pros: lens change easy

Bring multiple lens to the Mt to change throughout the day. Lighting can change in a second and so should your lens. So easy to do it could happen on the lift between runs. No mags necessary.

I love these goggles. They look clean, fit well, and they come with two different lenses which is a bonus in my book. There are a ton of color/lens combinations to choose from and they work seamlessly with my Smith maze helmet.

Pros: great field of view, quick change, no gaper gap with Smith helmets
Cons: on the larger side

great set of googles that integrate seamlessly with all smith helmets leaving no gap between helmet and goggles. easy to swap out lenses. comes with 2 lenses so you are covered for almost all conditions. They can fit over glasses if needed. If you have a big face/head like I do these will work great. Smith also has the IO and IOS for medium and smaller faces.

The IO/X is my favorite goggle hands down. The fit and field of view are unparalleled. The 2 lens included with the goggle cover all conditions you'll encounter on the mountain perfectly.

Good visibility, great frame

Pros: Ventilation, great lenses, color options
Cons: Big, quick change is bit tedious

I've been riding the IO/X for 2 years and its a great goggle for all conditions. The frame is pretty big and the quick change isn't as fast as some other goggles but the ventilation is the best i''ve used. Two lenses is nice if you ride in multiple conditions and i tend to switch mine out a lot.
