Good value

Pros: Lightweight, breathable, wind resistant
Cons:

Would you recommend this product to a friend? Yes

It being Spring I have already worn the jacket in a variety of conditions. On a 2 hour hike when it was 65° and raining hard at times, the jacket kept out the elements and with a lightweight long sleeve Columbia PFG shirt underneath the jacket was breathable enough (with the pit zips open, that I did not overheat on a fairly strenuous and hilly 5 mile hike. Conversely on a windy 35° morning with light rain falling the jacket was highly wind resistant and I was comfortable with a wicking shirt and mid-weight insulating layer underneath. It's a basic, no-frills jacket perfect for day hiking in changing conditions, as it is lightweight, comfortable and packable. I cannot comment on durability.

I've spent full days in the rain with this jacket, while staying bone dry underneathe. Super light weight and packable. If you're out in the rain for any reason, these are the best.

I have owned this jacket now for 14 years! you cant wear it out. It keeps the rain out, and is fantastic. It goes from the hiking trail to the shopping mall with ease. you must get one. I am going to get another just because its been 14 years of the same color.
